5 Element Offerings (TCM)

Healing based on Traditional Chinese Medicine’s 5-Element model.

This model views the body and spirit as made up of 5 parts. These 5 parts are prescribed metaphorically with ‘elements’.

The elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water offer a framework to understand the interactions between these elemental constituent parts of our selves.

Embracing the meridians….

Life force energy in TCM is called Qi (chi).

Balanced Qi ideally flows through each meridian and onto the next without interruption, stagnation, depletion or excess. In TCM the view is that stress, illness, emotions and pollutants will contribute to disrupted Qi Flow.

5 Element healing is perfect for those who:

  • are attracted to acupuncture but don’t want the needles.

  • enjoy the benefits of acupuncture, and would like to experience massage in their session too.

  • don’t enjoy the oily-ness of traditional massage.

  • want to feel soothed and balanced without the deep tissue pressure.

  • want to learn how 5-Element Theory can assist in your day-to-day life.

Gravity is the root of lightness; stillness, the ruler of movement | Tao Te Ching

The Five Element model has made my life easier in the following ways:

  • ability to identify different emotions and how to navigate them

  • seeing the flow from one state-of-mind to another

  • realising that you must nourish parts of you for the whole system to be balanced

  • being able to identify when parts of my life are deficient, or limited, and holistic ways that I can invite movement and nourishment in

TCM Acupressure

A process of recalibration and support for your nervous system, musculature, and energetic flow.

This treatment is similar to a massage, and may employ gentle or strong touch, point work, limb movements, stretching, and releases while you relax. The treatment is guided by your physical, emotional and mental needs on the day.

For bodies that need gentle movement, deep nurturing and restoration.

Fusion Acupressure – Point Work

Invite balance and positive change by gently listening to the subconscious voice of your body. Using the Chinese Medicine lens to perceive the body holistically, including your experiences, emotions, memories, and energetic self.

This is a clothed treatment where you lie on your back, comfortably, and points along Meridian lines are held gently to ease the flow of energy and balance the energetic system. This is similar to acupuncture, without the needles. Pairs of points are held to restore balanced flow.

These sessions may also include speaking with the practitioner, if you choose, as your deep body wisdom is invited to be heard, witnessed and met with gentle curiosity.

For developing a beautiful conversation with your inner wisdom.

Yin Yang Massage

Indulge your head, hands and feet to attention they deserve.

While lying on your back you will receive some tailored attention to a chosen area followed by meditative massage and acupressure point-work on your face, scalp, neck, hands and feet.

For those that need deep reset without movement.

In dwelling, be close to the land.

In meditation, go deep in the heart.

In dealing with others, be gentle and kind.

In speech, be true.

In ruling, be just.

In business, be competent.

In action, watch the timing.
